The drawing section is for clients of Revival Cycles and Steinway & Sons. The above one is for Revival that each part of motorcycle is connected together by lines. The below one is for the piano that the keys of piano are moving when people play the piano. And also the keys have black and white colours.
After drawing, I had to find a way to make line become structure. Learning from Peter Eisenmann, I can seperate the whole space to different parts. Some have connection and some are seperated.
For below, because of the connection of above, I make the independent space for room as it should have difference.
The drafted model 1:
At first, I did not choose the drawing above. But when I make the model of drawing, I found the drawing is more like pattern, not an architecture.
The drafted model 2:
This drafted model is made depending on the top section. However, it is quite a mass and no show room. There is no distinction between the above one and below one.
The drafted model 3:
This model is developing a lot, but use the different shape to put together. Especially the below ground, it is not suit for the reqirement of Steinway & Sons.
The final model:
This is the view of the whole structure. The three parts of model, above ground, showroom and below ground.
This is above ground.
These two show the showroom.
This is the below ground.
The final model have some difference from the drawing, but actually, the rooms on ground and above ground almost connected together, and the three rooms below the ground are seperated. The model has the same idea with the drawing.
